LiveWire Learning Community Video Contest!

How and where does learning happen in your community? What does learning look like? What inspires you to learn? Create a three minute video or digital story that answers these questions and you could win some great technology prizes! The LiveWire Learning Community Project has announced its 1st annual LiveWire video contest, which will recognize student and teacher-created digital storytelling that promotes the concept of community learning. The contest is open to city of Boston youth (grades K-12) and the community learning organizations that support them. All contest entries must be submitted by January 15, 2011. The LiveWire Learning Community Project is a partnership between the City of Boston, Boston Public Schools, Boston Public Library, Boston Center for Youth and Families and Fablevision with the purpose of uniting schools, libraries, community centers and families to improve academic achievement and promote creativity, literacy and 21st century skills.
